Ali Madjd of Boulder Rock Design and Landscaping worked on our front and backyard landscaping from April 2004 until July of 2004. During this time, we found that Mr. Madjd and his crew did an excellent job in an extremely professional manner. Many landscapers have their “own” idea about how a house should look. Boulder Rock is the opposite! Ali, and his wife Ruby, paid attention to exactly how we wanted to make our yard look and magically enhanced our ideas due to their expertise knowledge of landscape design. They really understood what we wanted and took it to the next level of excellence. They even took us to other homes to get ideas on what we could do. Ali or his wife were at the job site almost everyday making sure that the work was up to his design sense and actually made the crew change things that he felt did not look up to his standard of perfection.
Despite the fact that Boulder Rock is more of a design consultant rather than just a landscaper, we would have expected his prices be higher than average, but we found the opposite to be true. He charged far less than other estimates we received for the exact same work! Ali worked with our budget and modified plans to fit what we could afford. He did not insist that his crew do the complete job or the deal was off. Ali was up front with all costs before the work was done rather than surprising us with new costs. We knew at all times what we owed him and when he would expect a payment.
The crew working for Boulder Rock is also extremely professional and helpful. They would explain what they were doing and clean up as they went rather than leaving a mess on site. Each man on our crew has a specialty, which was meticulously performed each day. They work extremely quickly, but the job was done correctly.
We would definitely recommend Boulder Rock for landscaping services as you get quality work at a price you can’t refuse!
